Students Needed to Serve on Sunday Mornings
We could use rising 9th Graders through High School students to serve on Sunday mornings in our Preschool Discovery Cove Ministry during the 10:00 AM hour. If you are interested or available, please contact Kimberly Howard or at 770-957-5072, ext. 24. We also have opportunities in the Children's UpTown Ministry for Traffic Cops during the 10:00 AM hour. If you are interested or available, please contact Carol Vicers, or at 770-957-5072, ext. 23.
COMMUNICATION
If you are not receiving information by e-mail, please contact DONNA LYNN with your student's name, grade and e-mail addresses you want added to the student e-mail groups. We usually send out weekly information regarding our schedule, trips, fund raising, etc.
TEXTING
Does your student have unlimited texting? If so, e-mail DONNA LYNN with your student's name, grade and cell phone number, cell service and let us know they have unlimited texting. We send out group messages to students through texting to announce special events or reminders.

10:00 - 10:10 AM - Check in at Youth Cafe/Announcements
10:15 - 11:00 AM - Small Family Groups - Small groups are set up by grade and gender. Students are lead from the Youth Cafe by their Adult Group Leader to their small groups, which meet in the City of Wannabe upper lowel
11:00 - 11:10 AM - Students are brought back to Youth Cafe by Leaders waiting for Worship Service Set Up

12:15 pm until the Adult Service Ends - Hang out time in the Youth Cafe playing X-Box Video Games, Volleyball outside in the Sand-pit or Basketball outside, playing card games, or hang out with friends
MY SPACE HANG OUT
We have My Space Hang Out time on select Friday evenings: August 20, September 24, October 22 and November 12 for Middle School Students (6th through 8th Grade). Students are invited to our gym and youth cafe for basketball, volleyball, extreme dodge ball, X-Box video games, and a time to hang out with friends. We have a girls only room where they can paint their nails and watch movies. We can always use Parent Chaperons to help on this night. E-Mail Donna Lynn, or call 770-957-5072, ext. 17.
Times: 6:30 to 9:00 PM. Admission is FREE but bring a little money for items like Nacho's, Pizza, candy, drinks or chips ($.75 to $1.50)

10:00 AM - Students can serve in the Preschool Ministry (see above) or be a Traffic Cop in the Children's Ministry (see above), attend a High School Bible Study class that meets in the City of Wannabe (Upper Level) Room B-208 (Inside Playground/Fishbowl Room) taught by Becky/Pat Montgomery or attend the Adult Worship Service in the Gym
12:15 PM to 12:30 PM - Hang out time in Warehouse playing cards or socializing with friends

School Winter Break - We are going to Disney Theme Parks during the February school winter break in 2011. The cost of this trip in 2010 was $165.
Summer Camp - This past summer we went to a Lifeway Camp called Centrifuge in North Greeville University in South Carolina during the month of June. The cost of this trip was $260 for Fuge Camp and $265 for the Missions Camp

Please Note: The Drug Studies are not part of our Sharon Students Fund Raiser but is a way for Parents/Students to earn money for their trips. Money earned is paid directly to you from Clinical Research Atlanta and is not channeled through the Student Fund Raiser account.
