Prayer Requests

August 2010:

Stan Jones' mom's has a friend named Paul Ross who has bladder cancer and is not doing well. Hospice is coming 3-4 times each week to assist him.  Stan's mom, Betty, is holding up fairly well.  
Please pray for all of them.

 

***Sheila Bank's aunt, Louise Spencer does have to have radiation. She meets with the doctors next week to find out when she starts and for how long. Please keep her in your prayers. (08.18.10)

***Sheila Bank's aunt, Louise Spencer was told this morning that she does have breast cancer. She is going to a surgeon today. Louise is Shirley Stewart's sister. (08.05.10)

Sheila Bank’s aunt, Louise Spencer has had a number of issues recently so a battery of tests have been run. Early indications is that she may have breast cancer. She is also having severe stomach pain and they have no idea what is causing this pain. She is supposed to get confirmation, one way or the other, on Friday. (08.04.10)
 

July 2010:

Jim Smith's family friend, Cathi Cronin is extremely sick and is having major problems with keeping food or liquids ingested… she has been seeing various doctors and specialists at Piedmont but appears to be getting worse daily/weekly.  She is having to get IV's every few days for nutrients and hydration. Please keep her in your prayers. (07.29.10)

Sonya & Kenny Couch are the proud parents of a baby boy named Cullen who was born July 25th.
He weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and 22 3/4 inches long. Mother and son are doing great! (07.29.10)

Greg Banks just received news that one of his neighbors from his old neighborhood was killed by lightning in Panama City this week. His name was David Lee. His son, Zachary who is 13 years old was with him and witnessed this happen to his Dad.  He had divorced from Zack’s mom several years ago but had remarried about 1 year ago. There are no details yet but I know he and his son were extremely close. Please keep their family in your prayers.  (07.27.10)

Carolyn Collins' daughter, Cathy's surgery went okay.  She's pretty sore today though.  I had to change her dressing and she was in a good bit of pain when I did.  Please, pray that it'll heal like the doctor said that it will and that it won't get infected.  Also please, pray for God to give me strength through all of this.  She goes back on Aug. 16 for the doctor to check it out and see how it's healing.  Please keep praying. Kathy Rivers' mom who had surgery at Henry Medical.  She fell Tuesday and broke her hip.  She is 80 years of age.  They are fearful of some complications in the surgery due to other health matters.  Please pray for them.  Kathy's mom is in recovery now. They put in a plate and several screws. The surgeon said that it went well. (07.20.10)

Wayne Rutledge got to go home from the hospital. He is on a liquid diet until next week and is doing better. Please continue to pray for him had an endoscopy test done on Thursday (July 15) and after the test starting having problems. They learned that the test caused a tear in his esophagus. They will not be doing surgery since the tear didn't go all the way through the esophagus.  Please be praying for him. (7.21.10)

Ann McGahey/Mills Family - Please be praying for Ann and her children (Dustin/Austin Mills and Noah McGahey) as her husband drowned in a tragic accient trying to save others in the ocean on July 8 in Pensacola.   (7.9.10)

Will Allen was attacked by a dog in Jamaica. The doctors at the hospital said the bite looks good and doesn't look infected. He has not asked for or needed any pain medication but has had to stay off the leg. Please pray that his leg will heal without infection.  (07.11.10)

Jerry/Ann Thomas - Please continue to pray for their family as Ann lost her Dad at the end of June.  (07.01.10)

JeeJee Williams has had heart fibulation problems for the last few months.  The procedure done on July 7 did not work.  They have sent her home again with medications.   If she has any more fibulation problems, they will put in a pacemaker.  Please continue to pray for JeeJee and their family.
